Elizabeth Wahab PhD is a Society of Fellows Postdoctoral Scholar in the Archaeology Program, College of Arts and Sciences, Boston University
I am a heritage specialist and educator committed to advancing the study, care, and public engagement with material culture. My scholarship and professional practice have been shaped by work and study across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, and engagement with diverse institutions and communities.
At the core of my work is a commitment to advancing rigorous scholarship, strengthening cross-institutional practice, and supporting the next generation of heritage professionals. This is expressed through research, teaching, and professional collaboration that explore questions relating to the preservation, interpretation, and responsible management of cultural heritage.
